ADD pedal build.

Postby RG-Whizz » Sat Mar 06, 2010 11:12 pm

Hi kev,

just completed the ADD pedal which i have took my time building and found, as you state, that it does require some thinking about instead of a "painting by numbers" type project. i thoroughly enjoyed it and glad to say that it worked perfectly 1st time without having to do any debugging :D .

just thinking of a paint job now... possible swirl maybe.

Good stuff. Thanks for posting your experience.

Just out of interest - would you prefer a simpler build or do you think the way I've done it is fine?

Regards

Hi,

For me Kev, the way its set out was fine. If it was simpler i dont think i would of enjoyed it half as much. The instructions are the very clear and undersandable (even for a noob like me)but I liked the fact that you had to think about certain parts of the build. ive improved how to read the resistors, understanding schematics abit more and mainly my soldering technique. I cant stress enough how much you should check each part you do - and try to be neat.

The only slight problem i had was fitting it all in to the enclosure, but it might of been the way i had soldered some things up

Im off back to my eggs now.

Regards

Stu
